When Joan Nee asked me to join her in creating a series of paintings, my first response was…“No.” I had too much work to do and I really needed to produce paintings for the coming tent show season.” However, as I began to think about her offer, that desire to reach out in new directions made me change my mind.  In retrospect, I realize that had I used my time to “just produce,” it would have been just that…production. In taking her challenge, I have expanded my horizons and added new life to my painting.

So...it started...standing side by side we paint and create together.  It has been an exciting experience and well recieved by the public.  Below find three paintings, designed to hang side by side or alone.  Wisconsin Bluffs #1, #2, and #3 have been purchased by the Wisconsin Per Cent for Art Program and will become part of the State of Wisconsin's permanent collection.  They will be on display at Camp Douglas, WI in the Office of Military Affairs.
