My studio is located in Onalaska, Wisconsin.  I am an experimental watercolor painter.   Whether I am  painting abstracts, landscapes or detailed florals, I find challenges that inspire me to try new techniques, new papers and new methods to achieve paintings that I hope will touch viewers and give them some measure of pleasure.

Painting, learning and teaching  have been a big part of my life for the past 20 years.   Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, and spending most of my adult life in the beautiful Coulee Region of Wisconsin, my work has been influenced by lakes, bluffs, rivers, gardens and stories from the past.   My goal is to produce art that brings joy, stirs a memory or inspires the viewer to take pause and think about this wonderful world that God has given us.
